Questions about Concierge Care

What kind of cancer screening do you provide?

For individuals concerned about inherited cancer risk, family history, or certain occupational exposures, we offer access to advanced screening technologies that may complement traditional cancer screening recommendations.

Options include:

  • Whole-body MRI, a non-invasive imaging approach that may be appropriate for select individuals after consultation with their provider.

  • Galleri® multi-cancer early detection testing, a blood test designed to identify signals associated with more than 50 types of cancer, including many cancers that currently lack routine screening options.

Our team works closely with each patient to determine whether these advanced screening tools are appropriate based on their personal health history, risk factors, and goals.

How do you handle mental health medications?

Finding the right mental health medication can often involve a lengthy trial-and-error process. To help guide treatment decisions, we offer the GeneSight® test, a pharmacogenomic assay that analyzes how your genetic profile may affect your response to certain psychiatric medications.

By providing additional information about medication metabolism and potential gene-drug interactions, GeneSight can help support more informed conversations between patients and providers when developing a treatment plan.

What is a genetics panel?

For patients seeking a more comprehensive understanding of their health, we offer the 3X4 Genetics panel, which evaluates 157 genes and more than 170 genetic variants associated with metabolism, nutrition, cardiovascular health, and other key areas of wellness.

This information can help identify genetic factors that may influence how your body processes nutrients, medications, and other health-related factors. Examples include variants related to methylation pathways, MTFR mutation analysis,  and Lipoprotein(a)-  an inherited cardiovascular risk marker that is not routinely evaluated during many annual exams.
